Access to Beaches

IMPORTANT

  • When going to the beach always take public transportation all the way to and all the way back from, instead of walking.

  • Never take along your laptop, other valuables or excess cash, and definitely not your passport.

  • Always check the colour of the beach flag up for the day.

GREEN: it’s OK to swim 

RED: No swimming.

  1. City beaches (Las Arenas. Malvarrosa).

-EMT red buses ("bonobuses" are valid): No.1, 2, 19, 31, 32, (20, 21, 22, 23 run June 1 through the end of September) www.emtvalencia.es

Tranvía (subway "bono-metro" are valid). Lines No.:T4,T5, T6 . www.metrovalencia.es

  1. The beach of “El Saler”. (Just south of Valencia).

MetroBus Line “El Perelló”. Bus 190a. http://www.avmm.es/web/area-metropolitana-de-valencia/red-transportes-metrobus

This first stop of this bus is on Gran Vía Germanías, 34.

The bus leaves at 7 a.m. from Plaza Canovas and every hour on the hour till 9 p.m. Last departure from Perelló at 9:45p.m. (in front of Gas Station).

With this bus you can go to “Playas El Perellonet”, “Palmeretes” and “El Perelló” as well.

  1. The beaches of Cullera (40km. south of Valencia) and Gandia (60km south of Valencia). You can check www.renfe.es/cercanias/valencia

One train an hour leaves the “Estación del Norte”, c/Xátiva, starting at: 6:11 a.m

30 minute trip to Cullera, 56 minutes to Gandia.

The Cullera train station is on the opposite side of town from the beach. From the station you can take a city bus to the beach: about 1.50€ each way. Runs every 20 minutes. Or you can walk. It's not really that far.

4. you can go to Gandia too with the same train as to Cullera. Gandía is the last stop on the line. From Gandia Station you have to take a city bus to the beach;Runs every 10-15 minutes. (Line 1 and 2).

A train to the beach of Gandia runs mid-June to mid-september. More information:www.turisafor.com
